A.R.I.S.H. 's all-volunteer Board of Directors includes members from diverse professions and experiences who share an interest in expanding access of housing and services to people with disabilities for a stronger and brighter future.
Together our Board members lead with service, donating their time and expertise to help ensure A.R.I.S.H.’S operation and long-term planning remain true to our mission, and that we continue to grow responsibly and sustainably.Every member on this board believes that people with intellectual and developmental disabilities have the right to be included in all aspects of society and be supported in making decisions about their own lives.
I have been married to my loving supportive husband for over 30 years. I am a mother and a grandmother. I was in banking for 15 years handling customer accounts and a caregiver for over 15 years. I had the pleasure of talking to Rose over the phone and you could hear the love she held. Matthew 22:37-39 Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your GOD with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Hello, I am Nathan. Despite being born with Cerebral Palsy, I am independent and driven. I joined A.R.I.S.H. as not only a board member but an Assistant Treasurer to show that regardless of my disability I am capable and able to work and do any and all things I put my mind to. Rose and I watched movies and enjoyed our outings with Michele. I am here to support and advocate for people that may look like me to ensure we are respected, cared for, and not overlooked. I stand in solidarity with A.R.I.S.H. as we support and advocate for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
I am a retired Geriatric Nursing Assistant who has worked in the field for over 20 years. I love helping others and always have. God blesses me every day with new mercies. I had the pleasure of spending time with Rose, and she would always offer to make a pot of coffee for us to drink together. Me being a part of A.R.I.S.H. is my way to help others and do what I love doing.
