Executive Team

Hello, I am Bernadette, I have been married to my loving supportive husband for 33 years. I am a mother of 2 beautiful children, and I have 3 adorable grandchildren. I encourage my children and grandchildren to pursue their dreams and not allow anything or anyone to discourage them from reaching their goals. Because of my encouraging and inspirational words my son is a successful business owner of a clothing store called Different Regard. I attended Father Charles A Hall Catholic school. I Graduated from Eastern High and worked for the school system at Mary E Rodman. I attended Coppin State College/University for a few courses in teaching. I was in banking for 15 years handling customer accounts. I have been a caregiver for over 15 years. A Caregiver for a 99-year-old lady for 4 years and still a caregiver for my mom who is 91 years of age. I have compassion for people and my heart is filled with love. The greatest gift of all is love and to always treat people how you would want to be treated.Matthew 22:37-39 Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your GOD with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.

Nathan Ford

Assistant Treasurer
Board Member

Hello, I am Nathan. Despite being born with Cerebral Palsy, I am independent and driven. I joined A.R.I.S.H. as not only a board member but an Assistant Treasurer to show that regardless of my disability I am capable and able to work and do any and all things I put my mind to.  I am here to support and advocate for people that may look like me to ensure we are respected, cared for, and not overlooked. I stand in solidarity with A.R.I.S.H. as we support and advocate for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
