A Rose In Safe Haven (A.R.I.S.H.) operates as both a LLC and a Non-Profit entity. Both entities are dedicated to serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our purpose is to provide a secure, compassionate, and nurturing environment for people with impairments, intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
A Rose In Safe Haven LLC generates revenue through its service line, helping to fund some of the non-profit’s activities. Whereas A Rose In Safe Haven Corporation, is a 501(c)3 non-profit division that operates solely for charitable purposes and does not generate profit for the LLC.
A Rose in Safe Haven improves the lives of persons with impairments, intellectual, and developmental disabilities by providing supported living services. We also will support their rights to self-direct their services. They have the right to make their own choices, learn to effectively solve problems, make decisions about their services, create a plan aligning with their unique living goals, and Take control of their own lives. Those with impairments, intellectual, and developmental disabilities can improve their quality of life and take pride in their independence. We believe that providing opportunities and support for health and wellness, education, and community engagement will help them reach their full potential and access opportunities to live well.
Having a loving home is critical to practically every aspect of a person’s life. We at A.R.I.S.H. advocate for the production and preservation of housing opportunities for persons with impairments, intellectual, and developmental disabilities. We see firsthand how a secure, supportive, and nurturing environment impacts persons with disabilities, their families, and entire communities from productivity in the workplace, great community engagement, greater independence, and overall better health outcomes.
